Our target
YardBooth aims toward Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA. This is a target, not a claim that every page has passed a complete independent audit.
What is built in
- A skip link moves keyboard focus directly to the main content.
- Buttons, links, labels, headings, tables, forms, and dialogs use semantic HTML.
- Dialogs move focus inside, keep Tab focus contained, close with Escape, and return focus to the control that opened them.
- Keyboard focus remains visibly outlined.
- Important state is written in text and not communicated by color alone.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative collage images use empty alternatives.
- The layout adapts to phone, tablet, and desktop widths.
- Reduced-motion preferences disable smooth scrolling and transitions.
- The analytics notice and opt-out controls are keyboard accessible and use equally prominent choices.
- Seller access does not require remembering a password or solving a memory puzzle; it uses the email account the seller already controls.
What still needs work
The prototype has not yet completed a full screen-reader, browser zoom, high-contrast mode, voice-control, or independent WCAG audit. User-uploaded listing photos and descriptions may also vary in quality, although YardBooth provides labels and structure around them.
Before public launch we will test the complete seller payment, approval, email, upload, bundle-offer, policy, consent, and admin flows with keyboard-only operation and automated accessibility checks.
If something does not work
Email hello@yardbooth.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, the browser or assistive technology if you know it, and what happened. We will provide the information or help complete the task another way while we work on the barrier.
